As part of its strategic growth, BOA has established a new office in Genova, Italy, to strengthen its presence in the Mediterranean region. The new office will serve as a regional hub with a strong focus on barge fleet operations and complex project support- key areas in BOA’s expanding service portfolio.
Leading this new office is Sandro Lipani, who brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the shipping industry. Holding a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Genoa, Sandro has held senior roles from newbuilding supervision, technical and project management, chartering and operations, and most recently, general management.
Now rejoining BOA after nearly eight years, Sandro will head the Genoa office and play an important role in driving the company’s long-term strategic development in the Mediterranean region. His leadership marks an important step in BOA’s commitment to strengthening its global footprint and advancing its position in key market segments across the Mediterranean and beyond.
