BOA has successfully completed the transport of two newbuilt Goliath cranes from the Port of Chioggia to Monfalcone, Italy. These newbuilt 110- meter high Goliath Cranes are built by Cimolai Technology for Fincanteri's shipyard in Monfalcone.
Following weeks of planning and preparation, the loading operation was successfully completed, with the crane featuring a 136-metre outreach securely positioned onboard BOABARGE 38, 152 m x 38 m semi-submersible heavy lift barge, and towed to Monfalcone by the ASD tug BOA Heimdal.
The operations involved extensive planning, engineering and coordination between multiple project stakeholders.
