BOA Sets New Industry Record with Hebron Topside Mating Operation

BOA is proud to announce the successful completion of the record-breaking Hebron Topside Mating operation, a monumental achievement in offshore engineering. This operation involved the transfer of a massive 50,900-ton topside to the floating Gravity Based Structure (GBS) at Bull Arm, Canada.

Using the BOABARGE 34 and BOABARGE 37 in a catamaran configuration, BOA executed the topside lift-off, transport, and mating with exceptional precision and efficiency. The entire process, from the initial lift to the final load transfer and removal of the barges, was completed in just five days.
