BOA is proud to announce the successful launch of three floatingsubstructures for the EOLMED Offshore Wind Project.

The scope of work included full engineering support, project managementand all marine operations delivering the floating structures to its designatedquay. The operations were carried out using the semi-submersible bargeBOABARGE 35 and the ASD tug BOA Brage with the support of local tugs followinga load-out operation managed by Sarens.

Utilizing the strength, high capacities and advanced submergingcapabilities of the BOABARGE 35 and BOA Brage, ensured safe and controlledload-out, transport and float-off operations.

This milestone highlights BOA’s expertise and strong track record indelivering advanced solution in offshore operations and our continuedcommitment to advancing floating wind technology through innovative engineeringand precise project execution.

The Eolmed Floating Offshore Windfarm, located off the coast ofGruissan, France, will consist of three 10 MW wind turbines. This projectrepresents a significant step forward in France’s renewable energy ambitionsand in advancing floating offshore wind in the Mediterranean.

It has been a privilege to contribute to this pioneering offshore windproject, and we are grateful for the trust placed in BOA. We remain committedto supporting the global energy transition and to delivering reliable, safe, and high-performance marine solutions in collaboration with industry leaders.
