BOA Barge 33 delivered to Eiffage GC Marine for the BP’s GTA Project

29.01.2021

The semi submersible barge was modified in order to load out and float off the caissons that will form the breakwater for the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project at the border between Mauritania and Senegal.

To safely load out and float off the caissons with a weight of abt. 16.200 t with a floating draft of 17m,
the BOA Barge 33 has been widened to 60,4m, with submersing capacities down to 21m water above the deck of the barge.

Together with the 2 ASD tugs BOA Brage and BOA Heimdal and our teams of engineers and operators, BOA look forward to closely cooperate with Eiffage GC Marine on this project.
